Taking the First Step (Again)




Today I took the first step (again). The step towards a healthier and happier version of myself. In the past I've given up, I've given in, and I've quit more times than I'd like to admit. Today I decided that was all going to change. One of my best friends, Amanda, came over this morning to go running with me. Since the Upper Tampa Bay trail runs along the front part of our property, we took full advantage. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. We ran, jogged, walked and did lunges. It was hard since I'm so out of shape and I'm surprised a lasted as long I did. I just assumed I'd end up dying in the process, but thankfully that didn't happen. Haha. Getting back in shape is easier when you have a friend by your side. We're planning on meeting up 2-3x a week to exercise and I'm really looking forward to it.

  3. That's awesome! Great job! :) It's hard to get motivated and to stay motivated, but having a friend involved certainly helps!!
